In order to preserve language and culture, Deuda festival is celebrated in Tundikhel of Kathmandu on Thursday. Bajhangi Society Kathmandu danced Deuda to protect the language and culture identity of Far West and Karnali. Deuda festival is celebrated in Karnali every year on 1st of July. A public holiday has also been given in Karnali province on Thursday.
