On the occasion of the International Yoga Day, Indian Ambassador Naveen Srivastava to Lumbini State Chief Krishna Bahadur Gharti Magar performed yoga at Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha. In a program organized by Indian Embassy, BP Koirala Bharat Nepal Foundation and Lumbini Development Fund, common people practiced yoga with them for half an hour.
शुक्रबार बिहानै लुम्बिनीस्थित शान्ति दीपमा दुई सय सर्वसाधारणको भीडमा बसेर राजदूतदेखि प्रदेश प्रमुखसम्म योग गर्दै असिन पसिन बनेका थिए । पश्चिम नवलपरासीदेखि कपिलवस्तुसम्मका ५ वर्षे बालकदेखि ७० वर्षेसम्म वृद्धसम्म सहभागी थिए । प्रत्येक वर्ष जुन २१ का दिन अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय योग दिवस मनाउने गरिएको भए पनि यहाँ भने एक दिनअघि नै मनाइएको हो ।
