On Sunday evening on the eve of Budva Jayanti, Lumbini, the birthplace of Budva, became Jhakizkau. 2569 Buddha Jayanti is being celebrated in Lumbini on the day of Baisakh Shukla Purnima on Monday. In preparation for this, the Mayadevi temple in Lumbini was lit up with electric lights on Sunday.
