रथ यात्राका क्रममा अब शुक्रबार नरिवल खसाल्ने जात्रा मनाइनेछ । नरिवल खसाल्ने जात्रालाई स्थानीय भाषामा ‘भूज्याः जात्रा’ भनिन्छ । रथ गबहाल पुगेपछि गाःबाः याः, सुन्धारा पुगेपछि नुगः याः र लगनखेल पुगेपछि लगः या भनी भूज्याः जात्रा मनाइने चलन छ । पाटनको मुख्य भित्री बस्तीभित्र मनाइने मुख्य जात्रा भूज्याः हो । यसक्रममा मत्स्येन्द्रनाथको पूजाअर्चना गरेर रथको टुप्पोबाट नरिवलका साथै योमरी र ल्होंचामरी (नेवारहरूले धान्य पूर्णिमामा पकाउने एक प्रकारका रोटी) ले अभिषेक गराइन्छ । नरिवल खसालेको भोलिपल्ट ‘क्याकः मिसायाः भूज्याः’ भनी शनिबार महिलाले मात्र रथ तानेर जात्रा गर्ने परम्परा रहेको छ ।
