On the first day of New Year 2082, Baisakh 1, the gathering of people started in Charrate Chowr of Falelung-4 from early morning. Some of the people had come here the previous day and had pitched their tents and slept while some were staying in nearby home stays and goth stays.

बिहान घामको झुल्कोसँग चारैतिरका सडकबाट सवारी साधनमा आउनैहरुको संख्या बाक्लियो । नजिकको गाउँदेखि पैदल हिँडेर आउनेहरुको पनि बाक्लो उपस्थिति थियो ।

समुद्री सतहदेखि ३ हजार ४ सय ५० मिटर उचाईमा अवस्थित चाररातेको चउरमा मान्छेको चहल पहल बढेसँगै चौंरीका बथान पनि आउन थाले । रङी विरङी चौंरीको आगमनले यहाँ भेला भएका नागरिक हौसिए ।

कोही चौंरीसँगै सेल्फि खिच्ने थाले त कोही टिकटक र कोही भिडियो खिच्न थाले । कोहीले भने याकको ढाडमा चढेर रमाए ।जिल्लाको फालेलुङ–४ मा पर्ने यो स्थानमा आयोजना भएको आठौं चौंरी पर्यटन महोत्सवले जुराएको संयोग थियो यो ।

२०७४ सालदेखि आयोजना गर्न थालिएको यो महोत्सवले चौंरी र चौंरीजन्य उत्पादन प्रवर्द्धनमा महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका खेल्दै आएको बताइएको छ ।

फालेलुङ गाउँपालिकाको प्रवर्द्धनमा आयोजना हुदै आएको यो महोत्सव फालेलुङ कञ्चनजंघा पर्या पर्यटन संस्थासहित यस क्षेत्रमा क्रियाशिल संघ–संस्थाले आयोजना गर्छन् ।
