In Nepal, a movement to overthrow the government was launched at the call of various groups of Gen-G. It has been almost a month and a half since the government changed due to the developments that followed. Politically, this was not an ordinary event. After the Gen-G movement, serious questions are also being raised about the current state of Nepali society - where are we? Where did we intend to go? And, where is our journey going?

The movement that demanded change has suffered the greatest loss in history. There are many questions ahead, but the lack of answers has terrified Nepali society, politics and the entire country. There is fear, pain, suspicion, distrust, confusion and confusion among the people.

This movement should be reviewed from many angles. I myself have been actively involved in politics for two decades. I worked as a member of the federal parliament, representing the youth through a student organization. Our generation spent a long time on the streets fighting for student and youth rights. Our schooling taught us that until the common citizen gets the opportunity to be represented in the highest body of the country, system change should be the main issue of politics. And, we focused on that campaign.

Citizens from all over the country organized. Millions of youth from east to west participated in this campaign both inside and outside the country. We are in this system as a result of the spirit of the common Nepali citizen. Although the support, cooperation and goodwill belong to the common Nepali, the youth generation has made an unprecedented contribution and sacrifice in every political change. Having gone through many movements and turning points in history, we are in today's evolving events and political scenario. To truly change society, it is necessary to focus on programs that change the situation rather than the system.

The new generation has demanded a sophisticated programmatic plan to strengthen the political system and socio-economic programs. The new political-social environment established with new political thinking, determination, style, and culture needs to take institutional form. Today's political situation is like a small sprout sprouting after a major earthquake. This situation is beautiful and sensitive.

Beautiful in the sense that youth leadership, an agenda of good governance, and a state free of corruption and illusions have been envisioned with novelty. Sensitive in the sense that the country's historical heritage has been burned, there has been great damage to public and private property, 75 promising youth have sacrificed their lives, and the injured in the movement are still lying in hospitals. An interim government has been formed with the responsibility of elections to institutionalize political change, and the election date has also been made public. If we confuse the current situation of Nepal and the creation of an integrated model for solving problems, we will have to bear a lot of losses politically, socially, and economically. Therefore, this is the time for everyone to come together and contribute.

Looking at the demographic structure of today's Nepal, Gen-G has not had to experience the political changes and the sacrifices, sacrifices and dedication made to create this situation, nor has it had to understand the struggle . However, it has established its struggle for rights in the enjoyment of the opportunities it has received with global equality and access to technology . Yesterday's rights were within the scope of the constitution and within the country's borders, but today, with global equality and access to technology, voices of equality have been raised at the global level . Gen-G has sought good governance, transparency and the assurance of education, health, social security and opportunities like those in Europe, America, Korea, and Japan while living in its own country.

Nepali youth has always stood in favor of change and progressive and people-oriented transformation . From the People's Revolution of 2007 to the People's Movements of 2046 and 2062/063, the youth who have risen up have fought for creative change and progress .

It is unfair to ignore the youth who dedicated their energetic time to social transformation in every period. It is unfortunate to establish the comment that ‘yesterday’s youth had done nothing, could not do anything, and they are lazy’. In Nepali society and politics, youth have never failed to play their role according to the demands of the time.

Will a constitution be formed in the country or not? We spent a lot of time worrying about this. From the president to the selection of special ward members, to the provincial assembly, village/municipal assembly and judicial committee, the country was immersed in the creation of institutions and positions that the country had never experienced. There was a tension like now over the number of provinces. At that time, it was our political religion to put pressure on the completion of the constitution writing within the stipulated time. We used to go on the streets at that time, raise slogans and rallies. Were we lazy?

After the passage of time, all revolutionary events in history seem normal. But, we must not forget, if it were not for that revolutionary foundation, today's voice would not have been able to rise . How can we move forward hesitantly accepting that all the issues raised in Nepali politics are a refined form of political development based on the sacrifices of yesterday's youth ?

It is also necessary to accept a bitter truth . The narrative that is being tried to create that 'all youth have the same political thinking' is not only unscientific-impractical, but also extremely dangerous . The narrative of 'Jhole' is clearly depicting that thinking . Who can agree with the idea that 33 percent of the total population, Gen-G, has, can or should have the same political consciousness ? Why are we trying to create such a narrative ?

Nepali youth are influenced by all ideas—progressive, right-wing, and populist. As discussed above, Nepali youth basically remained in the progressive camp . They led the movement for political change . However, ideas like right-wing and populism are equally popular among the youth now. We should not skimp on analyzing the changes in the political views of the youth.

Not only that, the economic and social conditions, daily lives, problems, and expectations of youth of the same age group are different. Not only that, but we do not even have the basis and data to classify their conditions and problems.

Are we now discussing such diverse conditions of youth, different problems, and solutions? Are we accepting the fact that the political reforms and change methods of youth raised in different socio-economic conditions are also different? Why is it difficult to accept the diversity among us?

Yes, history has given different political responsibilities to the youth. It is prudent to view the current responsibilities in the continuity of history. Yesterday's generation was burdened by the issue of system change. Now we are all standing in front of a change in the situation. But, to change the situation of the youth, let's talk about the situation of all our youth at once, this argument must be accepted by everyone .

But, why are we now hesitating to move forward towards accepting the diversity of youth, their situation, thoughts and opinions ? Only after discussing this question can history fulfill the responsibility given to the youth .

Let's also keep the debate on the issue of the youth who support freedom free . Only then will we be able to fulfill the responsibility of history .
