Facilitate communication and collaboration between government and Gen-G

What you should know

As the series of talks between the newly formed government and Gen-G progress, it is expected to pave the way for addressing real concerns. When Gen-G feels that the government is not operating according to their wishes and the government is also created trouble by Gen-G representatives, the way to solve the problem will be opened through dialogue.

After every protest, the agenda is that of the protestors, so now it is not possible to reach the destination of national elections by ignoring the concerns of Gen-G. Therefore, the government also seems to have to work harder to communicate with Gen-J in a systematic manner and gain their trust.

After the Zen-G movement and the next day's violent demonstrations, the country had reached statelessness. According to the recommendations of the protestors, the government formed under the leadership of former Chief Justice Sushila Karki has specific mandates in addition to regular responsibilities. First, transfer of power through elections. Second, the investigation of the 23rd and 24th of August and initiation of action against the culprits. Third, establishing a theoretical and practical system to investigate corruption and wealth for good governance.

In order to achieve these basic objectives, everyone should support the government, if it starts to slow down, it should also be warned. However, since the term of the government is only 5/6 months, if it starts to pressurize to address the big expectations and solve the knots of constitutional and political problems that cannot be solved immediately, it will lead the country to instability, and it will make the Gen-G movement ineffective and lead the country to another conflict. Therefore, the government should work as much as possible on political-economic-social reforms, but the responsibility of holding elections should be given first priority. For this, the Prime Minister's voice is heard clearly, the entire state system should also be clear about it.

Gen-G is not a political or social organization but a population of young people of a certain age group, so it is not strange that their demands, ideologies and agendas are diverse. However, at a time of political transformation, it is impossible to reach a conclusion unless there is a consensus. Yes, we have to accept that now different groups have different agendas. Like, some need a directly elected executive, some even have to abolish the province. Some people think that the current constitution should be abolished and an interim constitution should be created, while some people think that the future of the country should be carried out according to the current constitution. An open and transparent and responsible debate on such issues is necessary.

The activism shown by the various groups of Gen-G and the arguments being put forward should be considered natural. However, such issues should not become a matter of life and death for anyone. It is natural for the agitating party to have a feeling of victory and the argument that the speed and direction of the state should be set according to their wishes. Often the agitational forces have similar sentiments. However, the fact that Gen-G should understand is that states have certain systems of governance. The state needs to follow suit. Proceed according to law. The agenda of the movement should be institutionalized and moved forward. The system should be strengthened. A system where the government can and will do whatever they want is possible only in a totalitarian regime. Gen-ji should not want such a style of governance. According to the demand of the

movement, the government should be active for good governance. The corrupt people of the past should be brought to justice. The oppressors of the Zen-G movement must be punished. However, in a democracy, all these things cannot be done tomorrow. There is no system in a democratic country where the government wants to open a file and mark individuals and send them to jail. Even if a person is the suppressor of the movement, it cannot be punished by looking at the face. There is a certain procedure for all of these. It must be fulfilled.

If the government takes a strategy of not doing such things, if it gets confused, it can be cautioned if it tries to give immunity to the people who are found guilty by the public without facing a legal trial. However, not all work can be completed tomorrow. If someone thinks that it has to happen, it will make the post-movement situation more fluid. Achieving good governance and prosperity is a comparative achievement achieved by years of hard work. Gen-ji should think about such matters seriously.

is a way to eliminate misunderstandings between the government and Gen-G - to establish a system of dialogue and cooperation. It will be easier if Gen-J cooperates on common issues and communicates with the government based on that. If the government also establishes a system to listen to the concerns of Gen-G and makes it active, it will be fruitful.

This will increase the adoption of both sides in the government's decision. Ease and discomfort of both parties will be exchanged and common solutions will be found. Mainly, the current misunderstanding will disappear. Gen-J will also feel that the government is running on their moral support. The government will also be available with Gen-G. It will eventually lead the country to the exit road.
