One of my childhood friends got a phone call in the morning. Desperation was mixed in his speech. I asked, 'Why, isn't it safe?' The speech is very disappointing, isn't it?' She became emotional, 'Don't look! Both the children also went abroad. It has been a long time since the daughter went to Canada and the father went to America. How unlucky I have been. There are no people here to take people to the hospital when they get sick.

She also told that her husband was ill a few days ago and it was very difficult to get him to the hospital. When she called her children after barely making it to the hospital, they said, "How much money do you need, mommy, we will send it to you?" "On the contrary, they are angry," he said. Our world is now settled here . Don't talk about going back to Nepal again for the future of our children,' she said expressing her grief, 'It takes years to pay off the loan for buying a house, car loan. Now I have got used to the facilities here . Sometimes you get sick. There is no need to panic too much. They say that the pension is coming, if it is not enough, we will send the money.

What is life after all! He was saved for his children but he has no one with him in the latter part of his life . In other countries across the seven seas, there is no sense of belonging, culture, people have become like machines . Husband and wife meet in a week. When one goes to a job, another comes back . However, they are happy about it. They don't want to come back here. I don't want to live with my old mother .

'My situation is the same . My two daughters are also outside,' I told her giving courage, 'You and I have the same problem . Now we have to live in the same old age home together in our old age.' Many friends tell me one thing, 'Friend, you are a government employee, the government will look after you in your old age.'

Hasn't it come time for the state to think about those whose children are abroad, whose property in the village is lying barren, who have pensions and money in the bank but who do not have a single person to provide hot water? If nothing else, campaign for the creation of a law to create at least a well-equipped, accessible old-age home? Instead, let the government take the property that belongs to them, but arrange proper care for the elderly.

This happened to the Saharia family. The suffering of the villagers is even worse. Children who went abroad to find happiness have been sweating for years to pay their debts, while waiting for happiness, the eyes of the distant, voiceless old people who are waiting for happiness are rolling their eyes.

This is also the result of senior citizens not being able to get their rights according to the law for a dignified and dignified life. There is also a situation where some senior citizens are becoming lonely due to foreign employment and some of them are having trouble giving their property to their children . There are also complaints that senior citizens are being abused by their children because of their property. The pain within the elite family is equally painful. Children will be engaged in business, grandchildren will go to college for studies. When everyone gathers at home, there will be electronic devices in their hands. There is no one to talk to senior citizens, to listen to their heart . Due to loneliness, representative cases of dementia, depression and even suicide can be seen in newspapers.

is a mine of senior citizen experience, a living history of social value recognition and development. It is necessary to make them active by connecting them with local skills and technology based on their ability. It is necessary for the concerned agencies to be timely sensitive to the protection of the rights of senior citizens and identify the needs based on priority and link them with policies, plans, programs and budgets.

A few months ago, my school friend, who is now in America, expressed her sadness and said, "Look, my friend, it is very difficult for me to spend time here." The language is not understood. No one cares about anyone . Everything is brand new. When son-daughter-in-law comes from duty, there is no dawn at night . But here, even though it is around, there is a sense of belonging. No matter where the screen is located, support is provided . In the end, he had only one statement, 'We would have returned to our own land if the government had arranged for the proper care and care of the elderly.' Here, even a single day seemed like a month to me.' Actually, to address the common problem of the elderly people who are dying due to age, allowances are not enough anymore, it is also necessary for the government to provide guardianship for the senior citizens .

The number of senior citizens in Nepal is 10.21 percent of the total population i.e. 29 lakh 77 thousand 318. The population of potential age to receive Social Security benefits is 5.23 percent . On the other hand, the strong-armed, competitive minds have migrated around 250000 daily. The government could not sustain the youth by arranging employment in the country. Political parties are fighting for the seat . No one has time to think about the country and people.

The annual average growth rate of population is 0.92 percent while the annual growth rate of senior citizens is 3.5 percent. The fertility rate is decreasing while the average life expectancy is increasing . This indicates that Nepal may turn into an aging society in the near future. Is it too late to make arrangements for elderly people who are lonely even though they are children, helpless and disabled to live with dignity and dignity by arranging day services in the old age home with facilities!
