Questions are being raised that the current home leadership is not capable everywhere, in the name of sending their people, they are not even compromising on the security of the airport.

After the earthquake of 2072, the Prime Minister's Office was moved to the Ministry of Home Affairs. After the reconstruction of the Prime Minister's Office, he moved to his own building. Then the Ministry of Home Affairs also came to its own building. Now the new building of the Ministry of Home Affairs is ready.

Why this scenario is described is not only inside the Singha Durbar, the internal security command of the country is under the Ministry of Home Affairs. In a way, the Ministry of Home Affairs is also known as the CEO of the government, as most of the ministries are involved in one or the other. But have our Ministry of Home Affairs and those who lead it made any strategic plan to strengthen the security situation of the country? No, it doesn't look like that.

Has the home ever taken reform measures on how to strengthen its presence on borders that connect all countries of the world like immigration? What role has he played so far to make the country's security organization agile and capable? Why didn't they think that they would become home minister and lead the way, but if the peace and security of the country deteriorates, I will not be safe either?

Rather, the home and its leaders are being established as a standard for abusing the mechanisms connected with all security of the country such as Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, District Administration and Immigration. There is no instance of the Home Minister ever suggesting that a competent officer should be given the security command of a sensitive location, that those who can run the organization should be put on the first list for promotion. The seriousness that immigration is the country's international border, anything can happen with one mistake was never seen in our home ministry and minister.

On June 7th, the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority arrested Joint Secretary Tirtha Bhattarai after a long surveillance and 'undercover operation' at Tribhuvan International Airport. The allegations leveled against Bhattarai and other employees working there are not common.

He is accused of supporting human traffickers for money by staying at the international border controlling those who leave Nepal for the world and those who enter Nepal from the world. Not only Bhattarai, but the entire immigration system and the Ministry of Home Affairs have been questioned internationally for a long time. Even now, if it is not reformed, when will it be done?

According to the statistics of immigration, more than 6 thousand Nepalis have been deported from different countries and returned in 5 years. In which some were returned on the charge of violating the laws of the respective countries, while most of them were deported from Nepal because they were carrying wrong documents. Those who went with wrong documents, all of them went on visit visa and permission was given by the immigration office.

A guide was made to check the documents of Nepalis who went abroad after being lured by brokers and are stranded and at risk according to the home plan. How can we believe that the home staff assigned to prevent crimes in sensitive areas will protect the country if they collude with human traffickers for money? Isn't the Ministry of Home Affairs sending Tirtha Bhattarai to that place? Did the Home Minister not look at his past?

Bhattarai is not the only one who is guilty of not seeing whether he is capable of commanding the manpower to detect 'security threats' by looking at the movements of more than 20,000 people every day. Because, it is almost impossible to go there without the interest of the Joint Secretary i.e. the Chief District Officer and the Chief Home Minister of the departments. If there is no

, while half a dozen joint secretaries in the same ministry are strolling on the balcony, those who are conflicted and have poor performance have not been sent to the sensitive department. It also gives a lot of room for doubt. If those who choose the minister do wrong, should the minister not take moral responsibility?

In December 2080, the Valley Crime Investigation Office arrested Narveer Khadka, an immigration officer, on the charge that the immigration staff was involved in sending Nepalis as per the plan of human trafficker under the name of visit visa. It was alleged that eight employees formed a group and supported human traffickers. A list of 56 people sent abroad with Khadka was recovered.

Immigration officials treat the police as enemies. To some extent, the team of the Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau, which was stationed at the airport to control human traffickers on a visit visa, was forced to leave on its own, unable to withstand the pressure from home. The current home leadership is not capable everywhere, in the name of sending their people, they are not compromising on the security of the airport anywhere, questions are being raised.

So far, the thinking of those coming under the leadership of the Ministry of Home Affairs has not been able to rise above selecting and sending their people to Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, District Administration Office and Immigration. Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar had said that he would focus on legal reforms. But the Act on Police and Armed Police Force brought by him has been accused of making those security organizations weaker and weaker instead of stronger.

The fact that the Ministry of Home Affairs is not sensitive to its responsibilities is evident by the fact that there is no improvement in the system even after the case of fake Bhutanese refugees. The plan to collect money from Nepali citizens and send them to America as fake Bhutanese refugees is certainly made by some criminal group, but the execution work was done by the leadership in the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Indrajit Rai, who was made a security advisor by the then Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa, Thapa's son Prateek or Balkrishna Khan who came after him, the Home Secretary and the minister's personal secretary brought by him, are all involved in an organized crime, that is, the implementation of the plan to sell Nepali citizens. The case against them is still going on in the court.
