With the convenience of smartphones at home, not only in the cities of Nepal, children in the villages are also deeply affected by information technology. This generation of 'Screenagers' is growing up in a completely different environment than before.
Today's generation is in a time of rapid change and development of AI, information technology in the world. If the country cannot address the demands and needs of this generation, no matter how much they request, this generation will not seek to live in the country. Congress is holding a meeting of the district chairpersons and vice chairpersons in the tourist city of Pokhara on January 22nd and 23rd. Such a gathering is going to be held for the first time after the 14th Congress. Last year, the General Committee meeting (Policy Conference) held from February 7 to 10 was viewed with importance in the country. However, even after a year has passed since the meeting of the General Committee, even the representatives of the Niti Convention are not concerned about the report which is said to be modified by the meeting of the Central Committee. Such delay will affect the dynamics of the party.
This gathering should aim to hold the party's 15th Congress on time. The program should guide the conduct and behavior of the leaders from the center to the local level to be people-oriented. After being trained from here, its effectiveness should be seen in the district. The meeting should be able to draw concrete conclusions for the burning issues and their solutions that are standing before the nation and the Congress. By debating
methods, methods and democratic ideas, the party should be able to focus on the technical issues that will advance the party on democratic lines and help the government to go on the path of public welfare. Review of government operations
The country is currently practicing a federal structure. However, our system has not yet become federal structure-friendly. Congress has a majority in all three tiers of government. Congress is now in a place to answer not questions. But there is a public complaint that the government has not done much work. We should be able to be its partners. Functional inter-relationships between the three tiers of government should be strengthened and duplication of work should be eliminated. For the development and prosperity of the country, we should act above the party interests. The
is another thing, a product of the current alliance situation. However, it should not be developed as a ritual. We should be concerned and thoughtful about how to build a strong Congress. There needs to be a thorough review of the alliance. The people have not been fully satisfied with the laws that we have passed in the parliament and the government that has been run.
Bills are being passed in Parliament. This situation should not be ignored. In order to build a strong Congress, the same person should not sit in the same position again and again. It is a matter of concern how a person who has spent many terms in the party can hold the crutch of others and contest the election. From this it can easily be said that time requires a new leadership that can implement fair distribution of opportunities and discretion.
Now we are on the journey to power built on the basis of the seven-point agreement between Congress and MLA. The cooperation between Congress and UML was based on the objectives of protecting national interests, maintaining good governance by controlling corruption, accelerating the nation's development campaign, political stability, amending the constitution, creating a business environment and making economic activities viable, encouraging investment and creating enough jobs in the country.
However, the initial results that should have been seen in matters such as good governance, running of the economy, constitutional amendment and employment have not been seen. Even after more than 6 months of formation of the government, it does not seem that the government is able to work at the expected speed. Governments have been formed in the past and will continue to be formed in the future. But the performance of the government consisting of two major parties should be above the average. If the law is working, it should be changed.
Review of Sayadine campaign
A Sayadine campaign of the Congress has been completed in majority of the districts and although some districts are left, the need for a review meeting has not been felt till date. The opinion of the leaders, activists and the people of the country has been collected from the Sayadine campaign. According to this, no one can stop the party from gaining popularity. However, the leadership did not consider the review necessary.
It is clear that it is difficult for the central committee and the party leaders/workers to take ownership of the decisions made by the office bearer meeting outside the statute and the performance committee meeting which is held repeatedly to weaken the power of the central committee. To check the effectiveness of the person in every organization, the performance and the satisfaction and dissatisfaction of the people towards that performance are considered as the basis. And, even after three years have passed in our country, there has been no review of whether the written and verbal commitment given to the representatives in the convention yesterday by the officials who influence the decision-making process has been implemented.
Therefore, it is necessary to suggest improvements to the Central Committee to make the future of the country and the Congress beautiful and optimistic at the meeting of the District President and Deputy President to be held from January 22.
