He broke his fast on Monday evening after reaching a seven-point agreement with the government.
The government had sent a negotiation team to Dhangadhi on Saturday. Dr. KC ended his hunger strike after an agreement was reached during discussions with the team.
According to the agreement, the Martyr Dasharath Chand Health Science University (Geta) in Kailali will be operated at full capacity, a teaching hospital with at least 300 beds will be run, and academic programs including MBBS will be initiated immediately. For this, the Ministry of Health and Population and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology will provide necessary coordination and facilitation.
