Rastriya Swatantra Party MP Ganesh Paudel of Rautahat Constituency No. 4 was attacked with ink on Thursday night. While returning from participating in the 'MP with the People' program in Parsa village, Ward No. 4 of Gadimai Municipality, ink was thrown at him from behind at his workplace.
According to MP Paudel, while he was putting on his shoes after the program, some people threw ink on his back and ran away. "I couldn't recognize the person who threw the ink," he said, "I have already informed the police."
For the past week, MP Paudel has been busy attending programs to meet with the people in his constituency. District Police Chief SP Sitaram Rijal said that the person who threw ink at MP Paudel has been identified and will be arrested soon.
