The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has clarified the decision taken at the secretaries' meeting on Monday that it will not demand new permanent posts from the Public Service Commission this year.
Joint Secretary and Spokesperson of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers Hemraj Aryal, in a press release, clarified that if any posts are required to be filled, if there is a vacancy after the management of the employees of the Fazil, or if there is a need to fill the vacant posts of the newly approved posts established through the organization and management survey, the Public Service Commission will be regularly requested for permanent posts in such posts.
The press release states that the government has reduced the number of the previous 22 ministries to 18 and accordingly, the organizational structure and staff posts of the merged and newly formed ministries and subordinate bodies are for management.
After the completion of the survey, the number of posts of various posts may be reduced from the current one, so it is seen that some employees may be more than the number of posts and fall under the Fazil. In this way, keeping in mind the matching of the positions of employees falling under Fazil, it was decided in the meeting of the secretaries on 4th Shrawan 2083 that no request will be made to the Public Service Commission for permanent filling of posts without the approval of the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers. If any post needs to be filled, if any post becomes vacant after the management of the employees in Fazil, or if there is a situation where a vacancy needs to be filled in a newly approved post established through the organization and management survey, the details of the regular request to the Public Service Commission for permanent filling of such posts are requested for the information of all concerned.
