The Land Problem Resolution Committee has issued a 35-day notice for the last time to apply for the purpose of providing and managing land for landless Dalits, landless squatters and unorganized settlers.
The committee has published a public notice and called on the target groups of the specified local levels to fill out the application form as per the format prescribed by the committee. The applications will have to be submitted through the data collectors deployed at the ward offices of the respective local levels within 35 days from the date of publication of the notice, effective from 2083 Shrawan 4. According to the
committee, this notice will be considered the last opportunity for the local levels that have already published the second notice of data collection. This time, this notice has been issued for various districts and local levels of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces.
Residents of Tapli and Limchungbung rural municipalities of Udayapur district of Koshi province, Gadhi rural municipality of Sunsari, and Barahapokhari and Jantedhunga rural municipalities of Khotang can apply. Similarly, this program will be implemented in Bhagwanpur, Laxmipur Patari, Bariarpatti, Sakhuwanankarkatti rural municipalities and Sukhipur municipality of Siraha district in Madhesh province. Target groups of Ramnagar, Kaudena, Balara, Bishnu and Dhankaul rural municipalities of Sarlahi district and Malangwa and Godaita municipalities will also have to apply within this period.
This arrangement has been implemented in Simraungadh and Kalaiya sub-metropolitan municipalities of Bara district as well as Parwanipur, Devtal, Bishrampur and Karaiyamai rural municipalities. In Bagmati province, Gosainkunda rural municipality of Rasuwa district, Panchpokhari Thangpal rural municipality of Sindhupalchowk and Ichhakamana rural municipality of Chitwan have been included in this notice.
Citizens of Barpak Sulikot and Shahid Lakhan rural municipalities of Gorkha district, Paiyun and Bihadi rural municipalities and Phalebas Municipality of Parbat, Nason, Narpa Bhumi, Chame and Manang Ngisyang rural municipalities of Manang can apply.
In addition, Nisikhola rural municipality of Baglung, Mangala, Raghuganga, Malika, Annapurna, Dhawalagiri rural municipality and Beni municipality of Myagdi, Lo-Ghekar Damodarkunda, Lomanthang, Thasang, Waragung Muktikshetra and Gharpajhong rural municipality of Mustang are included in this. Target groups of Putalibazaar, Bhirkot and Waling municipalities of Syangja district and Arjunchoupari, Biru, Harinas, Kaligandaki and Andhikhola rural municipalities will also have to apply.
Residents of Duduwa Rural Municipality in Banke district of Lumbini Province and Barekot, Shivalaya and Junichande Rural Municipality in Jajarkot district of Karnali Province have been given this opportunity. The committee has stated that this program will be conducted in Tripurasundari Municipality in Dolpa district of Karnali Province, as well as in Chharka Tangsong, She-Phoksundo, Dolpo Buddha, Kaike, Mudkechula and Jagadulla Rural Municipality.
The committee has urged all stakeholders to complete the necessary procedures and submit the details within the specified deadline.
