The government has decided not to recruit new staff in the civil service this year. This will affect millions of youth who are preparing to enter the government service.
A secretarial meeting held on Monday under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Govinda Bahadur Karki decided that no office will fill permanent posts in the current fiscal year and will not, and will not, request the Public Service Commission for permanent posts.
