Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has also monitored the District Administration Office, Gorkha, on a public holiday on Saturday.
Gurung, who spent about half an hour at the citizenship and national identity card counter of the administration office on Saturday, also called the service recipients and inquired about the service delivery.
On Friday, he called the BK of Deurali, Gorkha Municipality-14, who came to get the national identity card service, and inquired about the time it took to get the identity card, the behavior of the employees, and the service delivery.
He also urged the employees to pay attention to the service delivery so that the citizenship card is distributed within 15 minutes. Home Minister Gurung has also given instructions to provide services through a single-door system. ‘Even though the structure has been changed, he asked us to arrange service delivery through the one-door system,’ said Assistant Chief District Officer Netra Prasad Sharma, ‘We also raised issues such as staff shortages on behalf of the office.’
