Hospital Information Officer Padmaraj Bhatta said that there has been a long-standing disagreement between Bajgain and Tiwari over the alleged irregularities in the lab. According to him, the dispute over the same issue escalated to the level of a fight on Tuesday. 'There had been a dispute over the irregularities since before. Yesterday it turned into a fight,' Bhatta said, 'As the incident has reached the police, we cannot comment further on it now. More will be revealed after the investigation.'
Meanwhile, the Area Police Office, Tikapur, has said that an investigation has been launched into the incident. According to the office's Chief (DSP) Prakash Dangi, a complaint regarding the incident has been registered. 'The complaint has been registered recently. We will call the chairman of the hospital management committee and the concerned employees and understand the incident with both parties. It is not possible to say the exact reason for the dispute right now,' he said.
According to DSP Dangi, the lab employee Bajgain has filed a complaint against Tiwari. The police have stated that in the complaint, he has been beaten up without any reason and has demanded legal action against Tiwari.
