The meeting of the Public Accounts Committee has been postponed to 3 pm after there was no agreement on the formation of the Beruju Discussion Subcommittee.

The agenda of the meeting held on Tuesday morning was to approve the internal working procedures and form the Beruju Discussion Subcommittee. However, the meeting has been postponed until today afternoon after there was no agreement on the selection of the coordinator of the subcommittee.

The Public Accounts Committee is going to form five subcommittees. There are Finance and Good Governance Subcommittee, State Security, Justice, Law and Administration Subcommittee, Physical Infrastructure, Natural Resources and Environment Subcommittee, Economic Production, Science and Human Capital Subcommittee and  Social Justice, Welfare and Inclusion Subcommittee. Opposition parties have opposed the claim of the National Independent Party to be the coordinator of all the subcommittees.
