Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal has directed the government to respond to the topical questions raised by lawmakers in the House of Representatives meeting. 

In the House of Representatives meeting held on Monday, Speaker Aryal directed the government to respond to the serious and important issues of public concern raised by lawmakers during emergency and zero hours. He also directed the House to be informed about the preparations for possible natural disaster management.

‘I direct the Government of Nepal to respond to the serious issues raised by the honorable members and to inform them about the activities undertaken to minimize the loss of life and property due to floods, landslides and inundation in various parts of the country and to inform them about the preparations for disaster management,’ he said. 

The Speaker emphasized that the government should inform the Parliament about the preparations and future plans being made to minimize the possible damage due to monsoon-related risks as they approach.
