Two Nepali youths have died in an accident near Nankmatah in Udyamsinghnagar district of Uttarakhand, India. The deceased have been identified as Bishal Chandaro of Dodhara Chandani Municipality-8 in Kanchanpur and Kamal Khadka of the same municipality-9.
They were returning home from Delhi on a motorcycle when a car hit them. Both of them worked in Delhi. They were returning home on the same motorcycle on Friday morning.
According to Ward No. 9 Ward Chairman Gopilal Kandel, both the motorcycle riders died when a taxi with the same Indian number plate hit them. According to him, they were taken to a health post in Nankmatah, but the doctor declared them dead.
‘Both the motorcycle and the taxi were burnt to death,’ said Kadel, ‘It is estimated that it happened at high speed.’ According to him, the bodies of both were brought home on Saturday after postmortem. The last rites will be performed in the Mahakali River on Sunday.
Kandel said that he filed a complaint in the name of the taxi driver at Nanak Mata. He himself had reached Nanak Mata.
