According to a notice made public by the ministry on Friday, Tourism Minister Khadkaraj Poudel nominated 24 office bearers to the Pashupati Area Development Fund, Nepal Panchanga Nirikhaya Development Committee, Boudhanath Area Development Committee, Patan Durbar Museum Development Committee and Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Museum Development Committee on Wednesday and Thursday.
According to the nominations, 7 people have been appointed to the Pashupati Area Development Fund, 4 to the Nepal Panchanga Nirikhaya Development Committee, 6 to the Boudhanath Area Development Committee, 3 to the Patan Durbar Museum Development Committee and 4 to the Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Museum Development Committee.
Tirtha Prasad Shrestha has been nominated as member secretary, Meena Kumari Shrestha as treasurer and Kedar Ram Bhandari, Gangasagar Baniya, Sangita Kumari Ram, Rupa Shahi Vastola and Ram Shobhit Nayak as members of the Pashupati Area Development Fund.
Purushottam Bhattarai has been nominated as the chairman of the Nepal Panchanga Nirikhana Development Committee and Madhav Prasad Lamichhane, Siddhilakshmi Byanjankar, Surya Prasad Dungel and Netra Prasad Adhikari have been nominated as members.
Santapurna Kumar Lama has been nominated as the chairman of the Boudhanath Area Development Committee and Bishal Lama, Nirmikta Thinh Lama, Senang Gyamjo Tamang, Roshan Kumar Shrestha and Manibhadra Pokharel have been nominated as members.
Shobhanani Shakya, Suprins Shakya and Santaman Maharjan have been nominated as members of the Patan Durbar Museum Development Committee. Alok Siddhi Tuladhar, Saraswati Rashmi Shakya, Meera Maharjan and Birendra Bahadur Malla have been nominated as members of the Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Museum Development Committee.
The ministry had earlier issued an open notice on Baisakh 13 for the appointment of office bearers in a total of 17 bodies. According to the ministry, 476 people applied to the Pashupati Area Development Fund, 134 to the Boudhanath Area Development Committee, 100 to the Hanuman Dhoka Palace Museum Development Committee, 99 to the Patan Palace Museum Development Committee, and 46 to the Nepal Panchanga Nirikhaya Development Committee.
The evaluation of the applications and the preparation of the roster list were done by the ministry's evaluation committee.
