Dailekh accident: APF divers mobilized to search for missing passengers in Karnali

Armed Police Force (APF) divers have been mobilized to search for missing passengers in a vehicle accident on the Karnali Highway in Chamunda Bindrasaini Municipality-7, Sangetada, Dailekh.

Armed Police Force, Nepal No. 6 Maheshwori Bahini Headquarters Surkhet has mobilized an additional team of six divers from the APF Joint Spokesperson DSP Shailendra Thapa informed.

A force vehicle bearing the number Karnali Province 02-001 Kha 1055, which was heading towards Kalikot from Surkhet, lost control and fell off the road into the Karnali River.

After the accident at around 11:30 am on Thursday, a rescue team from the Armed Police Force Nepal Gulma Dailekh, Upper Karnali Hydropower Project Security Base and Police Post Paltada was deployed for rescue.

A police team has recovered the body of a person stuck on a cliff. It is not clear how many passengers were on board the vehicle.
