The arrested person is 30-year-old Aditya Singh. Police arrested him from the Kharibot area of Koteshwor, Kathmandu, according to the District Police Range, Kathmandu.
According to the police, Singh had tried to gain unauthorized access to the police office by pretending to be a responsible person from the Ministry of Home Affairs. After he contacted the officers while investigating police-related matters, the officers said that during the investigation, it was found that he was not related to the ministry.
The police are investigating why he introduced himself as a ministry official and what he did under that cover.
