Two children drowned while bathing in the Bagmati River at Samanpur Haraiyaghat in Gadhimai Municipality-1 of Rautahat on Sunday.
The District Police Office Gaur has informed that 8-year-old Anikesh Yadav and 8-year-old Aditya Yadav of Gadhimai-1 were found dead in the river.
Police said that Aditya's body was found about 50 meters south of the incident. Both the children were swept away by the Bagmati River while bathing. Police said that an investigation into the incident is underway.
