Party members, well-wishers, and supporters have felt relief after rain fell at the ongoing Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) general convention venue in Bharatpur amid the scorching heat.
The inaugural session of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) general convention has begun. Party General Secretary Karbindra Burlakoti said that representatives from all 77 districts have participated in the convention.
4,211 delegates have gathered in Chitwan to elect a new leadership. The convention will elect 19 office bearers including the president and 158 central members (7 provincial committee presidents are ex-officio central members).
The inaugural program of the RSS general convention is being held at the Guest House Chaur in Bharatpur, while the closed session will be held at the Chitwan Industry Association's Industrial Exhibition Center.
