The National Examination Board has released the results of the annual examination of Class 12. According to the board, a total of 418,170 candidates, including 332,241 in the regular section and 85,929 in the partial section, participated in the examination.
Of these, 231,770 in the regular section and 36,420 in the partial section, a total of 268,190 candidates, including 36,420 in the partial section, have obtained grades in all subjects.
This year, the percentage of candidates passing (getting grades) in the regular section is 69.75 percent and in the partial section is 42.38 percent. Overall, 64.13 percent candidates have passed. The government has directed to publish the results within 45 days of the end of the examination, but the board has published them within 40 days.
