Nepali Communist Party (NCP) Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that he will raise his voice in the streets and the House against the policies and programs brought by the government and the budget for the upcoming fiscal year as they are against poor farmers and workers.
Launching the membership renewal campaign through digital means on Friday, he also said that the budget is focused on the welfare of the upper class. ‘It is clear that the government’s policies and programs, budget are against the poor and farmers of Nepal. It is against the oppressed community. It is focused on the welfare of the upper class,’ he said, ‘The government’s budget will have to be raised from all fronts against the working class, the poor, workers and farmers, the fundamental rights of the people, and the rights of trade unions. We are gradually taking this effort forward from the House and the streets. There is an effort to concentrate all the opposing parties in one place in the House. The people will gradually understand this.’
He pointed out that an attempt is being made to weaken the party at the behest of others, pointing to the disagreement expressed by leader Jhanath Khanal.
‘Some people are trying to create unnecessary chaos against the party and leadership. Reactionaries are trying to weaken the party that fought for democracy and republic, federalism and inclusion. Reactionaries are plotting to create internal strife and trouble within the party,’ he said, ‘Knowingly or unknowingly, some of our friends have done the work of spreading disappointment.’
