The District Administration Office, Kathmandu has directed the removal of the offices of employee-affiliated unions working in government bodies in the district from government buildings. Administrative Officer of the office, Tirtharaj Katel, informed that such offices have been instructed to be removed within 7 days.
The Kathmandu administration issued a notice on Tuesday, stating that if the signboards of the central office, provincial office, district office, liaison office or unit offices of non-governmental technical or professional unions, organizations, and organizations registered with this District Administration Office and employees working in various government and public bodies in Kathmandu district are kept inside the government building structure, they have been asked to be removed.
The administration office has asked the removal of the offices of any such organizations registered under the Organization Registration Act, 2034 within 7 days and transferred to a private or rented building elsewhere and informed this office about it.
Similarly, all government offices and public bodies have also been instructed to remove the boards and structures of such organizations from their offices and vacate the areas occupied by them.
