The Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court has refused to continue the interim order in a writ petition seeking to stop the implementation of the government's decision to dissolve the trade union of civil servants and teachers.

The Constitutional Bench led by Chief Justice Manoj Kumar Sharma on Friday ruled that the short-term interim order issued earlier will not be continued.

The Constitutional Bench, along with Justices Nahakul Subedi, Binod Sharma, Abdul Aziz Musalman and Mahesh Sharma Poudel, refused to issue the interim order. With this, the government's move to dissolve the trade union seems to have gained legitimacy. Earlier, a short-term interim order was issued not to implement the dissolution decision made through an ordinance.

With this decision, there will no longer be any interim legal obstacle in the implementation of the government's decision to dissolve the trade union of employees and teachers. Earlier, a short-term interim order was issued based on the opinion of the majority of judges.
