Two Bangladeshi nationals have been arrested at Tribhuvan International Airport with Rs 3.151 lakh. They were about to fly to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on a Batik Air flight at 1 pm on Thursday and were arrested during bag check at the departure hall in the international departure area.
The arrested are 39-year-old Mohammad Intaj Ali and 50-year-old Mohammad Zakir Hussain. It has been found that Intaj Ali has entered Nepal 38 times and Hussain 11 times.
They were found with cash hidden inside their suitcases by making a false bottom and have been sent to the Revenue Investigation Department for necessary investigation and action, informed Superintendent of Police at the Tribhuvan International Airport Security Office, Rajkumar Silwal.
