The sixth edition of Nirbhik Nari has begun. Organized by Nari Masik, a co-publisher of Kantipur Media Group, this edition will discuss women's issues in four panels.
The first session of this edition will feature Sangeeta Pandey, who became an entrepreneur through her mother's pickle, entrepreneur Radhika Adukiya, Laxmi Upreti, manager of international food chains KFC and Pizza Hut, and social media influencer Binjul Shrestha. The session titled Pathway to Leadership is being coordinated by Moon Pradhan, who heads the Leadership Committee of Zonta Club.
In the second session, titled Firm Parliament to Progress, the session will feature Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangita Udas, RPP MP Khushbu Oli, Congress MP Basana Thapa, and RPP MP Bukhari Shrestha, who represents the sexual and gender minority community. This session is being coordinated by journalist Laxmi Bhandari.
The third session titled The Price of Being Visible will feature young activist Amisha Parajuli, sociologist Samjhana Wagle Bhattarai, actress Rekha Thapa, and neuropsychiatrist Dr. Raman Koirala from HAMS Hospital. This session is being coordinated by journalist Pravina Poudel.
In the final and fourth session, journalist Skandha Swar will interact with photojournalist and mountaineer Purnima Shrestha. All sessions of Nirbhik Nari can be watched live on Ikantikpur's Facebook page and Kantipur TV.
