Congress leader Shekhar Koirala has said that the rumors that the establishment party has sent a seven-point proposal for consensus are false.

Koirala has called such claims completely fabricated, imaginary and misleading and urged people not to be fooled by them.

Giving information on the matter, Koirala's Chief Personal Secretary Dinesh Thapaliya has also clarified that they have no information about the seven-point proposal from the establishment party.

According to Thapaliya, there is no formal or informal basis for such rumors. There has been no correspondence, no dialogue or proposal in the secretariat.

He has also urged people to be aware of such misleading information that has come out in recent days and has also requested them not to spread false information.

According to the secretariat, the latest meetings took place only after the formation of the new working committee formed after the special general convention. In that context, on 22 Baisakh 2083, President Gagan Thapa and on 22 Chaitra 2082, General Secretary Pradeep Poudel met Koirala at the Secretariat in Bishalnagar, Kathmandu.

Since then, the Secretariat has clarified that there has been no formal or informal dialogue or contact with any leader or official.
