Foreign Minister Khanal had gone to New Delhi on Friday for an official visit to India from 22 to 24 Jestha at the friendly invitation of Foreign Minister Jaishankar.
During the visit, Foreign Minister Khanal had met with the Chief of the Foreign Department of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Vijay Chauthaiwale. Foreign Minister Khanal had addressed an event organized by the India Foundation in New Delhi on Friday. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that he is scheduled to return to Kathmandu on Sunday after completing the visit.
