The committee formed on April 28 recorded Gurung's statement last Friday. 'His statement is complete and we have studied all the details related to him,' said a member, 'We are now moving towards writing the report. We are trying to submit the report within a few days.'
The meeting of the Council of Ministers on April 28, 2006 had formed the committee with former High Court Justice Achyut Prasad Bhandari as the chairman, Comptroller General Shobha Kant Poudel and Associate Attorney Achyut Mani Neupane as members.
