Speaker DP Aryal has formed a three-member committee to investigate the lawmakers who behaved unbecomingly in the House of Representatives' meeting on Sunday. The Speaker has also said that action will be taken after the committee submits its report.

Speaker Aryal informed that the investigation committee has been formed in the meeting on Monday. The three-member committee has been formed under the coordination of House of Representatives Secretary Prakash Adhikari. 'In the meetings of the House of Representatives on 17th Jestha 2083 BS, some members of the House created disorder and displayed unruly and objectionable behavior and caused material loss and damage. The Speaker received detailed information after the meeting ended in accordance with Sub-rule 4 of Rule 33 of the House of Representatives Rules 2083 BS,' the Speaker said. 'As a memorandum has been prepared regarding the matter today, I would like to inform you that a committee has been formed with Secretary of the House of Representatives Prakash Adhikari as the coordinator and the Head of the Internal Services and Planning Management Division and the Head of the Technology Management Division as members to conduct further investigation on this matter and submit a report to the Speaker within 7 days.'

Babita Mishra is the Head of the Internal Services and Planning Management Division, while Gopal Sigdel is the Head of the Technology Management Division.

The Speaker has also clarified that the action process will proceed after the committee submits the report. 'I hereby inform you that necessary action can be taken as per Sub-rule 4 of Rule 33 of the House of Representatives Rules 2083,' the Speaker announced.

There was a controversy in the parliament while presenting the House of Representatives Rules for decision in the meeting on Sunday.
