Although 13-year-old American Jordan Romero later broke the world record, Temba Tshiring was known as the youngest Nepali climber to reach Mount Everest.
Tshiring is currently a student of Reliance Public School. He obtained an A+ with 3.63 GPA in SEE 2082. His climb was completed through Glacier Himalaya Treks and Expeditions and he was guided by Da Kaljang Sherpa in the climb.
Tshiring, a native of Lokhim Safarma, Thulung Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality-9, Solukhumbu, was born into a family with a mountaineering background. Tshiring's father, Lakpa Temba Sherpa, has climbed Mount Everest three times, while his mother, Dolma Lama, has successfully climbed it once.
