Chinese climber Gexi Luori has added a new chapter to the history of mountaineering by successfully climbing Mount Everest and Lhotse twice in the same climbing season.
This achievement is the first in the mountaineering field, claimed Seven Summit Treks, which manages the climb.
According to Thaneshwor Guragain, Managing Director of Seven Summit Treks, Gexi climbed Mount Everest this season at 7:15 am on 3rd Jestha. He climbed Lhotse at 7:50 am on 4th Jestha. He climbed Lhotse at 7:50 am on 11th Jestha and Everest at 3:30 am today.
The time between his two Everest climbs is only 9 days, 20 hours and 15 minutes. This record has set a new record in high mountain climbing.
