I was appointed as a qualified person when I was in the High Court. After the constitution removed me, I returned to practicing law. I was again appointed as a qualified person in the Supreme Court. I am not aware of any law that disqualifies me based on being a relative. I do not have much to say about this.

RSP MP Kavindra Burlakoti has questioned the proposed Chief Justice Manoj Kumar Sharma about the caseload and the influence of middlemen. During the parliamentary hearing, he asked, 'What will be the caseload and the influence of middlemen?  How will court decisions and interim orders be managed in development projects?'

NCP MP Barshaman Pun has asked proposed Chief Justice Manoj Kumar Sharma what his plan is to eliminate groupism seen in the courts.

He said, 'There is a problem of groupism in the courts. Is there a question of not allowing it in the coming days? Are there any questions about the performance?' Similarly, he further said,   'It has been said in Harikrishna Karki's report that there is corruption in the courts. How will this be implemented?'

During the parliamentary hearing, MPs are asking questions to the proposed Chief Justice Manoj Kumar Sharma. RSP MP Rajiv Khatri has asked whether he has given a verbal order not to register the petition filed against the bench. He has also asked whether you have been questioned as a Nepo baby. He also asked another question: What about going to the party office?

The discussion on the 16 complaints filed against Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, who was recommended for the post of Chief Justice, has been concluded. Sharma, who has now been recommended for the post of Chief Justice, has arrived at the Parliament Secretariat. He is scheduled to reach the committee in a few minutes. After that, Sharma will present his action plan. After that, the MPs will ask questions on the complaints filed against him and the action plan.

Recommendation for Chief Justice Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma has submitted his judicial reform action plan to the Parliamentary Hearing Committee. He has also mentioned the achievements that will be achieved after the implementation of the action plan. The points are as follows:

• The concept of a technology-friendly court (e-Court) will be realized by maintaining an appropriate level of use of information technology in judicial service delivery.
• The backlog of current cases will be substantially reduced and cases will be disposed of within a maximum of 18 months as per the period specified by the Differentiated Case Management Method (DCM).
• A strong state of easy access to justice and a victim-friendly justice system with compensation will be ensured.
• Public trust in the court will be enhanced by ensuring speed, quality and effectiveness in judicial work and service delivery.
• The highest standards of judicial governance, responsibility, accountability, and judicial integrity and ethics will be maintained in the judiciary.
• The process of appointing judges will be non-controversial, transparent, and predictable.
• Nepal's level of compliance with internationally developed standards of the rule of law will improve through strengthening the independence, capacity, and overall judicial function of the judiciary.

Recommendation for Chief Justice Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma has submitted his action plan to the Parliamentary Hearing Committee. The main 5 points in it are as follows:

• Ensure judicial good governance, transparency, professional efficiency, impartiality and speedy justice.
• Manage adequate judicial manpower by restructuring the organizational structure.
• Make the implementation of judgments effective.
• Increase access to justice.
• Establish information technology-friendly courts.

Recommendation for Chief Justice Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma has presented his action plan to the Parliamentary Hearing Committee. 

The Parliamentary Hearing Committee is currently continuing its confidential discussions with the complainant. Discussions will then continue with other complainants as they become available. Proposed Judge Sharma has been summoned at 1 pm to answer questions raised against him and present his future action plan.

In the parliamentary hearing process against Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, who was recommended for the post of Chief Justice, Tanka Prasad Acharya, the complainant, has argued that the constitutional and judicial state is not functioning and that problems in justice have started after the tenure of Khilraj Regmi. 

The CPN-UML and the Nepali Communist Party have expressed their views, saying that the hearing of the proposed Chief Justice should not be rushed. CPN-UML MP Padya Aryal and CPN MP Barshaman Pun have demanded that there be no rush and time to study. Aryal expressed her views, saying that the complaint was distributed today and that there should be no rush to hear it today, while CPN's Pun demanded that the complaint be given one day to study and discuss it.
