The parliamentary hearing process has begun on Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, the recommendation for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

The parliamentary hearing committee meeting began at 8 am and details of the complaints filed against him and Sharma's action plan have been distributed to the MPs.

16 complaints have been filed against Sharma. Of the 16 complaints filed against Sharma, 11 were registered through emails and 5 were registered in writing. Committee Chairman Bodh Narayan Shrestha informed that preparations are underway to discuss with the complainants today and to hold a hearing on the proposed Chief Justice Sharma.

Immediately after the meeting, the CPN-UML and the CPN have expressed their views saying that there should be no rush. CPN-UML MP Padya Aryal and CPN MP Barshaman Pun have demanded that there should be no rush and time be provided for study.

Aryal made her point by saying, "The complaint was distributed today and let's not rush to hear it today," while NCP's Pun demanded that the complaint be given one day to study and discuss it.
