As per the decision made by Prime Minister and University Chancellor Balendra Shah today, he has been assigned the responsibility of Vice-Chancellor to conduct the daily work of the vacant Vice-Chancellor post of Tribhuvan University and also to work as the Dean of the Institute of Engineering Studies.
Upon assuming the responsibility, Bajracharya has assumed office at the Vice-Chancellor's Office in Kirtipur, TU has stated. The day before the special ordinance regarding the removal of public body officials was issued, the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Dr. Deepak Aryal, had resigned.
