The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has made public the names of five people for appointment as members of the Board of Directors of Nepal Airlines Corporation. The ministry issued a notice on Thursday, making public the names of five candidates who participated in the selection process through open competition in alphabetical order. The list made public by the ministry includes Dr. Deepak Prasad Bastola (Pokhara-30, Kaski), Prabin Bhattarai (Bharatpur-2, Chitwan), Mahendra Bhakta Shrestha (Lalitpur-13, Lalitpur), Roop Lamichhane (Gokarneshwor-1, Kathmandu) and Lila Raj Dhakal (Aandikhola-6, Syangja). According to the ministry, a seven-day public notice was published on April 12 for the appointment of members of the Board of Directors as per Section 4 of the Nepal Airlines Corporation Act, 2019. According to the notice, 27 people had applied.
