Rammaya Basnet, 78, of Kaski Pokhara Metropolitan City-19, Bindu Kunwar, 78, of the same ward, Kaushila Regmi, 50, of Parbat Modi Rural Municipality-5, and bus driver Ramesh GC, 45, of the same ward, died when the bus (Dha1Kha 504) crashed in Durgaphant Kudele, Panini Rural Municipality-8, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Diwas Bahadur GC.

27 people on the bus were injured. They are being treated at Arghakhanchi Hospital and Tansen. Jhalak Subedi, Information Officer of the office, said that the bus fell 180 meters down when the brakes failed on the steep road.
