The Supreme Court has issued a short-term interim order not to implement the government's decision to ban student organizations in universities for the time being.

A single bench of Justice Shrikant Poudel called the government for discussion and issued the interim order.

The Supreme Court, while conducting a preliminary hearing on a writ petition filed by various student organizations, including ANNFSU President Deepak Dhami, asked both sides to discuss whether an interim order should be issued or not. The Supreme Court has asked them to submit the reasons for the dissolution of the student organization in writing.
