”We may be different in terms of party, ideology, and principles, but you/we have not had to suffer the same pain as the foundation that was laid for political change in the country, and we will not have to suffer tomorrow either. We will have to work for the next five years.”

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) President Ravi Lamichhane has said that he will be found unfit if he fails to work result-oriented for the next five years. Addressing the concluding session of a two-day training program organized for the party's MPs in Lalitpur on Sunday, President Lamichhane said this. 'We have now come from a historic revolution. If we fail to give results to this revolution, you/we will emerge as worthless.' He clarified that some MPs come to him with personal expectations in the name of contribution to the party and that it is not time to ask for the value of their contribution. 'Even now, my friends sometimes tell me - Chairman, I have been in the party since the beginning, I have contributed to the party. They knock on the door to ask for the value of my contribution. I feel sad. It is not my time to ask for the value of my contribution to this party, friends. I will give my contribution now.'
He mentioned that even though the party has achieved political heights easily, its foundation was laid by past political movements and changes. He said that despite having different ideas, principles and political views, this revolution was possible on the foundation of the struggle of the previous generation of leaders. He said, 'We may be different as a party, ideas and principles, but you/we have not had to suffer the same suffering as the foundation that was dug in terms of political change in the country, and we will not have to suffer the same suffering today or tomorrow. We will have to work for the next five years.'
He urged all parliamentarians to be aware that their statements and activities could hurt the common citizen.
