There has been a delay in assigning judges to the Supreme Court. Earlier, the drawing of lots for the appointment was usually done around 9:30 am, but today, the appointment has not been scheduled even until 11 am.

On Thursday, the Constitutional Council broke the tradition of appointing a senior judge as the Chief Justice and recommended Manoj Sharma, who is in the fourth position, as the Chief Justice.

According to Supreme Court administration sources, the discussions of the judges gathered to draw lots have been prolonged so far.
