A writ petition filed in the Supreme Court against the recommendation of Manoj Sharma as Chief Justice has been filed. The Supreme Court administration has refused to register the three writ petitions. Senior advocate Dinesh Tripathi, advocates Geeta Thapa and Premraj Silwal have refused to register the writ petitions. They had filed the writ petition demanding that the Constitutional Council's decision on Thursday be nullified. After the administration filed the petition, Tripathi, one of the writ petitioners, said that they will file a petition in the bench on Monday. The Constitutional Council had recommended Sharma, who was in the fourth position, as the 33rd Chief Justice.
