Government spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel has said that a diplomatic note has been sent to both countries regarding the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra to be conducted by India and China via Nepali land, Lipulekh.

‘The Nepal government has conveyed its clear stance and concerns to both India and China through diplomatic channels regarding the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, which is said to be organized via Nepali land, Lipulekh,’ Pokharel said, ‘We have already spoken about the border dispute through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We are clear that it is our land.’
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs had made its position public on Sunday, saying that attention had been drawn to the questions and concerns raised by various media outlets.
A press release released by the ministry spokesperson stated that ‘the Nepal government has conveyed its clear stance and concerns to both India and China through diplomatic channels regarding the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.’
