The Kantilokpath has been put into operation after landslides were removed at two places in Makawanpur and Lalitpur. The Lokpath has been put into operation after landslides that occurred in Bhiryangdanda, Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-8, Makawanpur, and Pangdure, Bagmati Rural Municipality-4, Lalitpur on Sunday morning.
The landslide towards Makawanpur was removed at 10 am, while the one towards Lalitpur was removed at 12:45 pm and vehicles were brought into operation.
The landslide occurred at 5 am due to rain. The landslides at both places were removed by locals, police, and the Road Department using equipment, said Pramod Kumar Sah, Deputy Inspector of Police at the Area Police Office, Thingan.
