The President's Office has decided to send back the ordinance on the Constitutional Council recommended by the government for reconsideration.

According to Baburam Kunwar, legal advisor to President Ram Chandra Poudel, the President has decided to send it back to the government for reconsideration after studying the ordinance. Earlier, the President's Office had also sent back the ordinance recommended by the Sushila Karki-led government.

The Council of Ministers meeting held on 14 Baisakh had recommended some ordinances, including the ordinance on the Constitutional Council, to the President's Office.
