The special court has ordered to understand the health condition of former Finance Minister and Nepali Congress leader Ram Sharan Mahat, who is involved in a corruption case. In particular, Mahat has ordered to understand his medical examination report after he filed a petition stating that he is suffering from health problems. The bench of Justices Narayan Prasad Poudel, Dilli Ratna Shrestha and Vidur Koirala made this order.

In the case of Mahat, his wife Roshni Mahat filed a petition to appear in the bench and said that her husband is suffering from Alzheimer's disease and is not conscious. The bench ordered to understand the health examination report.

The CIAA had filed a charge sheet against former Minister Mahat for submitting a proposal to the Council of Ministers for approval to implement the project as per the revised budget of 215.9 million US dollars for the construction of Pokhara Airport and making a decision in bad faith.
